We are looking for a good campsite to take our almost 2 year old daughter, preferably not too far away from the Lancashire area. Any recommendations would be very appreciated!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
If you don't mind heading across to Yorkshire I would recommend Ripley. There is a nice play area, a big duck pond, an indoor swimming pool and best of all if it's raining there's an indoor play room for toddlers with loads of suitable toys for that age group. Next door is a bigger games room for older kids. Even when the site is full it doesn't get too noisy or busy

Don't tell every one about our favourite campsite or we will never get a pitch.
Must admit its a lovely site in a fantastic part of Yorkshire.

Well that will teach me!!
Decided to phone and book a weekend away (thurs-sunday24th to27th)Guess what?
They have only a caravan space available yes we have the caravan but the idea was to go and have a play with the tent I bought last year and have not got round to using. So big delemer is go with caravan or find somewhere else and use my tent as planned.

go with the caravan of course . How can you resist a weekend ther. Of course while you are there you can pop in and see those nice friendly people in the office and book a further weekend to return with your tent
