I would be very greatful for any sound advice.

We are looking for a campsite with sea views for a week in mid august. Anglesea seems peaceful and a tranquil which suits us fine. We are 2 adults just getting used to the kids moving on! This is our first trip alone!

only really need a shower and loo, it's the surroundings and views that count.

The last advice we had about north yorkshire was so good it is our favorite place, but we need a change so any expert and experienced feedback will be greatfully received.

Thank you in anticipation!

Von & Jon.

if you are wanting a quieter site stay on the western side,Treaddur Bay is nice,Blackthorn farm is a nice site overlooking the irish sea,or Bagnol, either side of the bay.the eastern side is more the noisy side if you like, still nice, but not as nice as the western side

Well, you could learn to spell Anglesey first LOL  if you want views and quiet try around Beaumaris or Benllech, that is the higher side of the island, Go onto the site search and click Anglesey and it brings up about 6 on the right hand side map. Check first that the site takes tents though, and then phone up most site owners are more helpful if you take the time to phone first. Good luck. and enjoy the area.

We stayed at TyHen last year and loved it.   Apparently there is a lovely walk down to Rosneiger - but we didn't do this, as I had a problem with my heel which made walking painful, but was highly recommended by somebody who came to the site every year.

Yes it is on the flight path to RAF Valley - so could get a bit noisy at around 9 ish when they planes were off out for the day, and around 4.30 when they were returning - but it was fun to watch them coming in low.

With Angelsey, most places are within easy reach.

We have just got back from a great weekend at tyddyn isaf. The campsite was fantastic with great facilities and great sea views. You can get to Lligwy bay via a short walk off road from the campsite. It is reviewed on here.It has a nature trail and its own bar/restaurant and was very relaxing even with 3 young kids!!
