Anyone been to this haven site recently? Review on here dates from a year ago. Quite an attractive price for weekend in july advertised, but reviews a bit dodgy!! Anyone been?

Not been, but I'm going on 21st June for 4 nights. Haven seem to be spending a lot on their camping sites and I've not found a bad one yet (although Blackpool wasn't very level), so my fingers are crossed

Went in may, Nice new toilet/shower block, level pitches although some are a bit bumpy, nice large pitches some in view of kids park

they have moved the shop down near the complex which is 5 min walk.

lots of money spent there up grading, staff friendly  it has alot of statics and is a big site but with lots of room

when you get there do not stop at reception if your on the touring park, just follow the blue signs and the wardens office is next to the toilet block

I have a relative who lives 100 yards from this site, and a couple of friends who have statics there, the general consensus is that since Haven took over, it is super, it is set to be the Haven flagship site in Essex, with huge investment being ploughed into it.
