We are picking up a trailer tent in Manchester on Saturday morning and driving back home to Bath with it. We would like to stop off on the way home for one night just to get a feel for it and we are looking for a campsite on the way back down, possibly about 2/3rds ish. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to stop? Will have our 3 sons wih us so if there is a play park that would be useful but not a deal breaker.

------------- Beware newbie alert :) will be asking stupid questions.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hi there, I can't personally recommend any sites but I would have thought that there were plenty around Warickshire, possibly near Stratford. Have a look on the search option, theres bound to be something

Try Tewkesbury Abbey CC site, There is a very large park right outside the gates, it is very convenient for the motorway and is a very easy drive from Manchester area.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
