My husband and I are trying to plan a week away camping in July, hopefully to the Tenby area. This will be our first time and we have no idea where to start with choosing a campsite and would welcome any suggestions - we would like to be close to the beach and near a pub or two and would like a site with a decent shower block
All ideas welcome, thank you!

Try the campsite search above. We've not been to Tenby for quite a few years so can't give any up to date views. Next year we are going to try Freshwater East Caravan Club site, i don't know if they take tents though.

Freshwater do take tents, there are hook-ups, very handy for the toilet block (not buried away in a corner as many tents seem to be!), couple of minutes to the beach on foot, sheltered, pub on the site next door, and one at the top of the hill (get a thirst going up, roll back down!)

Brilliant!
