My husband and 12 year old son are looking for somewhere to go camping this weekend with beach nearby for sea fishing and a golf course nearby would be an added bonus. We live in Glasgow so somewhere not too far would be great. Could anyone please suggest anywhere for them ( I get a weekend without football PLEASE PLEASE HELP)

Would Scarbrough be too far? plenty of campsites along the coast and choice of a couple of golf courses and sea fishing either of beach or boat trips out of the harbour.

beachcomber bay campsite near holy island northumberland just off the A1. Masive beach good seafishing up and down the coast and you go through a golf course to get to the campsite ! And theres horse riding if you want somthing differant
