Hayfield is a lovely site. It's a C&CC site but takes non members. Well run, but no EHU which also means no Vans, just tents and campers. Reviews here

Hollingworth Lake campsite. There has just been a meet their of some of the members of this forum.

Bill

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Hi G n L, we've been to Greenhills near Bakewell. Lovely place and Bakewell is only 15 minutes away.

haven at presthaven sands, prestatyn they take tents and tourers but you my have to confirm booking,or nant mill at prestatyn if you want a less lively site,both sights a couple of mins from prestatyn ton centere and 5 mins drive into rhyl oh and i love the sun centre swimming. i do them in under an hour from bolton.
