We like to go to Scarborough for our xmas break - Boxing day til Jan 3rd. Lovely brisk walking on the beach. Scarborough looks lovely with the christmas lights - even the boats have xmas lights on them! Couldn't make it last year due to the snow - hope this years weather will be better!

We went to Windermere C & CC site last New Year - couldn't get away for Christmas - and it was beautiful in the snow. We had a great time. I think you would need to book around now, many sites book up very early for Christmas and the New Year.

Thornleigh Park Farm near Chester is good. We cooked our lunch in the van, but we came across a lovely restaurant called Sheldrakes on the Wirral where loads of people were eating their Christmas lunch, lovely outlook over to Wales. We also went to the zoo, a great day out, walked around Chester walls, went to Beeston castle, went shopping of course.

Yes, it's far too early - I don't even know where I'm going this summer!!
However, If I was to go away at Christmas, I'd like to go to Braemar. In fact, I'd recommend Braemar at any time of the year.
With caravanning being as popular as it is these days, you can never be too early. That's in order to get what you want and not what's left over that nobody else wants.
