Oh swiftsure you have just reminded me of why i love the broads. Been down there quite a few times both actually on the boats and now camping. Mind you even when we camp we still have a day boat and take ourselves out on the river. Your so right about wroxham roy owns it doesnt he, theres everything from roys clothes to roys garden centre and obviously roys food hall.

As for your question eatontracey there is loads of seaside resorts round there including another of our faves, Cromer. They have a great carnival week up there, i think this year its around middle of august, might be worth checking on the dates definately worth a visit if so. But even without the carnival its a lovely quaint seaside town and from its pier you find loads of people fishing for crabs, seems to be really well known for the crabs there.

There is also things like Maize mazes, (i think) a dinosaur adventure park.

We have had a few breaks in Norfolk over the last few years with 2 kids and a dog. I love the area. We have stayed at Sandringham / Thetford Forest / Clippesby / Kessingland and this year we are having 2 weeks at Cromer. Always found plenty to do in the area and the coast all around North Norfolk is really good with plenty of dog friendly areas. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
