hi we are looking for a great site for children we have 4!!! aged 1, 5, 6 and 8 we live in ashbourne so dont mind travelling for about an hour! we have got a new tent and want to try it out this weekend before we go in our big family holiday to cornwall in august! i would be very grateful for any help

Hi Kerry, we're in Ashbourne too.
I've done a search on the map with an area of 20 miles. Have a look at the reviews and see what you think. Not camped that close to home so not sure where to recommend.

Vale of Pickering is brilliant for children, if you could go abit further worth the travel though, its in the 100 top sites in the uk as well,
