If you go via road not very far at all - just down over a steep hill.  I would say 10 minute walk, you might want to catch the bus back though!!

people moan about this site, but we have been the last 2 years, the latest in may this year,we have booked for next year already.you get some silly beggars, but a quick call to security gets action. We love it there, but we go out of the main season. It can be busy and noisy, but you are on holiday.there are 3 ways to get into town, down the slope at the back of the site and along the beach, along the road,or over the golf course.the worst part is getting back,as it is quite a steep hill.there is a chippy, with cafe in the middle, they do superb food, and you get plenty.enjoy

Oh and the pasties in the garage at the bottom of the hill are scrummy!!  They also sell them by the box load if you want to take some home.
