Hi, me and about 9 friends thought it would be a great idea to go camping, we are all aged between 17-23 and are looking for a campsite that is going to be relaxed about noise mainly, we aren't going to be causing riots but we would like to be able to be up pretty late talking and having a laugh. We live in Portsmouth but are willing to drive anywhere within a 2 hour radius, we was thinking about Newquay as there is a 18-30 campsite but its too far away. An obvious choice due to our location would be the new forest but apparently the campsites there dont allow any noise after 11pm. And if its not too much to ask we would like to be able to make a campfire and be fairly close to a pub. Thanks for any suggestions or help.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

I would agree with Hurst View its unusual to find a site that allows camp fires Hurst View positively encourages them !! And if you can go during the week before the summer holidays the very large bottom field would be mostly empty so you could find an area away from others. If you can only go at a weekend or in school holidays I'm not so sure you could find room away from others but it is a very large field !!
