Hi all we are a family of 4 children 5 and 2.  We are looking for a campsite that has a swimming pool and pub/restaurant onsite and possibly low key entertainment - definately not Haven scale.  With lots for the children to do nearby.  We live in Devon and dont want to drive more than 2/3 hours, we seem to have done Cornwall lots so really wanted something a bit different possibly Wales, however I must admit Cofton, South Devon looks as though it fits the bill especially reading the reviews. 

Can anyone recommend a site that might suit us?  If there are any other families that fancy hooking up let us know.

Take a look at Sandy Balls in the new Forest, near Fordingbridge, not sure it will be too commercial for you - def. not as commercialised as a haven

It has a swimming pool, a bistro, shop, softplay, bar.  They run craft type sessions if you want to join in (small charge), also they have this sort of village square, where in the pm they had a entertainer (free) eg punch & judy, magic man, crown etc which did a little show.  There was a good adventure playground.  We went a couple of years ago but was much cleaner than a haven type place and better kept.
