My girlfriend and I have treated ourselves to a new tent (Outwell Nevada M) after a number of seasons in a small, pokey and a little bit leaky (!) tent.
We are off for a weekend trip to the Lakes (an area we are getting more and more familiar with) at the start of August and want to give the tent a test run before we head off.
We've never been to the Cotswolds and were hoping for some advice on campsites. We wont be walking on this trip, just visiting NT locations and villages. All we ask for is that the campsite is quiet and has one or two good local rural pubs (with ale).
Can anyone give me some first hand advice? (any ideas of things to definately go and see would be great too)
thanks for reading

Field Barn Park is a very good site, for adults over 30's only, near Bourton-on-the-Water. Several other sites, don't know how to do link but you will find via Campsite Search.
Bourton-o-t-Water is a lovely town with the river running through it.
The Slaughters are pretty
Stow-on-the-Wold is a typical Cotswolds town.

I don't think it is a strict rule that you have to be over 30 - when my partner and I camped there there seemed to be people younger than that camped there.
I agree that it is a lovely campsite.
