hi,
a bit of a longshot this. about a a year ago i saw a picture in one of the club magazines of a CL site near dumfries. it was in a walled garden and looked stunning. can't find the mag in question and i've tried googling and through the site search here but to no avail. don't suppose anyone here would know it or it rings any bells?
we've got a weekend without the kids next weekend and i was hoping to go.
thanks for any help
cheers

Sorry, cant help BUT if you don't find it have a look at Castle Point in Rockcliffe - absolutely smashing site with stunning views!
WE went to a site in Dumfies a few years ago. It is the village of Garliston, and right next to the Caravan Club site. It is a Camping and Caravanning club C S. At the time I wrote a review on the site, I am sure if you do a site search you will find it. The guy who kept the site was called Rusty. A lovely little village and a very nice area. Site was really good, showers and pot washing facilities etc.Well recommended.
