Hi

My daughters are huge Harry Potter fans and have read the last book where HP and the gang going camping in the Forest Of Dean, we asked them weher the want to go camping this time and they want to go to FOD!

Am after some recommendations, has to be as flat pitch as possibe, allow dogs, have a park and clean loos.

Have a look at Forest holidays(which are owned by the C&C Club),they have 2 sites there,Bracelands and Christchurch

We've been to Bracelands (FOD) - great views (depending where you chose to pitch of course)!

Also great walks for dogs direct into the Forest. We're planning to try the Christchurch site in Oct as unfortunately Bracelands isn't open all year. Think they're only open until end of September.

I've not been to this site, Beanhill Farm, but I have saved it in my virtual brochure as the reviews sound fantastic.

The Forest Holiday sites are large, with good facilities. We really enjoyed our stay at Bracelands a few years ago.

If a flat pitch is a priority avoid Bracelands.  Some of the EHU pitches are fairly level but the rest of the site is pretty much on the side of a mountain.  Christchurch is slightly better.
