hi all,

I am scouring the reviews and I cant decide where to go so if any has any reccomendations I would really appreciate it!

I have a few wants..... lol

within 3 hours of blackool - was thinking somewhere not too far from a beach but not too close to home

child friendly site - maybe a play area on site

things to do in the local area

possibly an indoor pool - not a must but would b nice, my daughter loves to swim

and somewhere that takes larger tents

Vale of Pickering
It is within easy driving distance of Scarborough/East coast, absolutley loads to do in surrounding area including theme park, play area on site.
Only thing missing is the pool on site but there are leisure centres in most big towns these days so I'm sure there will be one near by!

Just come back from SOLWAY HOLIDAY VILLAGE. By Silloth Cumbria, on coast. Spent 2 days there with 2 grandkids. Large site  (ex RAF base), pub, club for entertainment at night, (all out by 1am) kids allowed, decent entertainment (but £2.75 a pint, I'm used to paying £1.90). Indoor pool of resonable size, play area for kids indoor and out, also shop, but not stocked very well. Small restaurant resonable prices.
