Hi all, Finally got a tent today after weeks of looking at hundreds of models.,Got a Vango 6 bert.

Now the next bit where can I go? Any suggestions.

Hoping for somewhere in the north west, where kids are welcome, it would be nice if ok with bbq's. Poss near the coast..but not essential.

Any suggestions for somewhere nice, friendly & clean for a first timer?

What about somewhere North Wales way? We're in Greater Manchester too and find north wales far enough to feel like we're away but not so far you're knackered before you get there. Bala is lovely, about half an hour from the coast but you've also got the lake to play near for the kids. THere's loads of sites round there, have a look on the camp site search on here for somewhere that fits your bill.

Yes I will do thank you. I hadn't thought of Bala, I think I may have been there as a child.

I was thinking either The Lake District or North Wales.

I'll search now for sites in Bala though, good idea!
