Unfortunately they won't reserve a pitch for you - it is literally a case of first come, first pitched!!
Personally I think it is risky during the main school holidays, especially if the weather is nice, but I am one of these people who need to know I have a pitch before I leave home!
If you really want to go I would say give it a try, but have a back up list of other sites in the area that you can ring - I'm sure somewhere would have a pitch especially if you don't want EHU.
