we are there 14th august can any one give us any recommendations for trips out & good food in the area,many thanks. 

You have the famous welsh theme park Oakwood just outside  Tenby

And in Saundersfoot itself...there is a lovely little beach called coppets hall...which you can walk to from the the town...great for fishing and also you can walk to wiseman brigde.

Tenby Town...is busy on most days thou the summer...also look out for any signs in and around saundersfoot...for the Tenbys firework display.which i think happens in august.

but most of the shops or petrol stations you stop in will have leaflets or posters in thier windows of events or things to see and do.

we as a family love Tenby/Saunders foot have spent many years there as a child and no a adult with my kids....we have loved it that much we even sited our caravan down there..for a few years.

p.s the fish & chip shops are all nice in town...but due to the summer hols they do put they prices up....so going there is a treat.

if you collcet tesco clubcard points ? you can use tesco deals for Oakwood and Folly farm etc

Just come back from Tenby.  Loads of car boots in that area if you're into them.  Saturday Tenby air field car boot, then pop up the road to Carew Castle.  Well worth a visit.

Also a great boot sale/market there on the sunday...and if you carring on up that road..1st left coming out of the bootsale...it will take you to Pembroke Dock where there is a big Asda & Tesco's....also a couple more shops.Also just across the road of Asda there is a play ground park for the kids where they can play and watch the ferry's come and go to ireland.

also on that road coming from tenby..there is Manor house wildlife park...where anna ryder-richardson lives and owns.http://www.manorhousewildlifepark.co.uk/

and also oppisite there is another fun park but sorry cant remember the name.

to be honest there is loads to do and see....you will really enjoy your time there.
