My all time favourite & special place is Henry's Campsite in Lizard Village, Cornwall. Ticks all your boxes. Check out my recent review, or my blog entry. Great walks on SW coast path, 2 pubs 200m away in the village, sea views from most pitches. However I know that is now fully booked until Spetember. Maybe one for the future.
Treen Farm, Porthcurno meets all your requirements and is lovely too. Walk to the amazing Minack Theatre on the SW coast path, sea views, good pub in village. You cannot book, just turn up early for a pitch.
But if you want panoramic views then Little Meadow near Ilfracombe is hard to beat. Again check out my review.
For the Lakes I'd recomend Syke Farm in Buttermere - right in the village, 2 pubs, Buttermere Lake and Crummock Water are only a short walk away, with some fabulous walking on your doorstep, including Red Pike, Robinson and Haystacks (Wainwright's favourite fell and a brilliant walk!). Very basic site but lovely views, again just turn up and pay at the farm in the village.
The Quiet Site near Ullswater is a bit bigger but has an amazing quirky little bar on site in a converted barn, sells real ale if that is your thing. Leaflet of local walks (I can recomend Place Fell and the Aira Force waterfalls walk which you can do from the site).
Also, never stayed there but the NT site in Langdale is supposed to be lovely. On my list of "to-dos"!
I hope this gives you some ideas - wherever you end up, enjoy!
