See if you can get a pitch in the New Forest, plenty of donkey's and ponies around, they will pinch your food if its not kept well locked up. lol.

We live on a farm, and our chickens have been known to get inside caravans if encouraged
The campers love them....

Not sure how far from you it is but Fron Farm in Mold has animals. Great for kids. We went at the end of May and were going to go back - but circumstances have mean that camping is on hold for now.

fron farm or greenacres is fab for kids, we are at greenacres now till aug and have been since may.

I would say Fron farm too, kids will also enjoy the tractor sledging.
