Can anyone recommend a touring site in Cornwall, preferably with a bar on site or close by and the site shouldn't be too far from the beach, not too much to ask really

Do a search and read the reports. The trouble is, everyone looks for different things in a site. We have used Globe Vale, just outside Redruth. A very well kept site with a small bar + fairly standard meals (nothing fancy). Wherever you go in Cornwall, you are never too far away from a beach. Porthowen and Portreath are 3/4 miles away. Look hear for search results.
hello worthyp we stay at the haven campsite in perranporth it has indoor pool burger king family entertainment etc and a restaurant it also has direct access to the beach haven have a camping and caravan website which will tell you everything about the site and the local amenities.
How about Chy Carne. No bar as such but you are able to take your own booze into the marquee on an eve and meet other campers. Or there is a bar 5 mins away (sorry i didnt use..so cant really comment). Kennack sands is 10/15 walk away, but obviously longer on the way back up! Or you can drive down, there is a small free carpark three quarters of the way down or payŁ3.50 in the car park next to beach.

I'd 100% recommend Chy Carne at Kuggar on the Lizard as well, sorry we didn't try the local pub either, but as said previously they do have a large marquee where campers/caravanners gather and you take your own drink with you (a lot cheaper than a pub!) It's a great campsite with lovely views and friendly/helpful owners and staff.
It has its own bar on site and is a 5/10 min walk across the fields to the wonderful safe, sandy and beautiful Crantock Beach.
