Hello all,

I'm looking for some help in finding a campsite for a long weekend away with some friends and basically wondering if anyone here has found or know's or anywhere that could match what I'm after. I'm looking for a campsite that is ideally close to a beach or has lots of space around it. Somewhere that is fun to explore or just sit back in your chair. I'm also after a place that won't persecute us for noise. By NO means are we a loud or rude group but being all male and in our twenties we are automatically seen as the devil at a lot of campsites thus being told of for making less noise than many of the surrounding families! We just want somewhere we can sit around a fire with a few bevvys and watch the sun go down and come up. I'm after either pitching a tent or getting a 'surf hut' if it's reasonable. I'm located in Hampshire and would only want to travel roughly an hour (by car) to reach the location.. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!
all the best,
Haz

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

California Campsite may be a bit far (1.5 hrs?) and it's very basic, but otherwise might suit.
