We have the Khyam Ontario 8 which measures 7.5m x 3.7m excluding guy lines and we have never had a problem getting on a site or been told our tent is too big to accommodate.
Tents that are X or Y shaped or those over 5m wide tend to cause the most problems.
Tunnel tents give you a neat footprint and gives you maximum use of space.
