maybe a pub or club ok for kids as well at night for a couple just again something to do with them at nihgt..
The Star pub is 5-10 mins from Filey Brigg site on the way into town. Does meals (has a nice area at the back of the pub) and is child friendly. Only popped in on the way back from town, but in comparison with other pubs in Filey which were a bit dark and musty its just been renovated, has a pool table and is a nice place. Plenty of families in there eating or playing pool/ relaxing with kids when we dropped in for a pit stop after a quick shop for bits after a day on the beach.
The Corner Cafe is a nice place to eat. If you phone or pop in and book for between 5-6pm kids eat free. I can't remember what age they class 'kids' upto though. Its next to the bus station.
Not my cup of tea, bit you also have a Haven place on the other side of Filey (Primrose Valley) which has lots for kids/teens. I routed one of my morning runs to go through and have a look (also did this for Muston and Centenary Way to get an idea how close they were to the beach and town). I know they are statics or tourers but you can walk up there off the beach if you want to have a look and wander round the cafes and amusements. Its the first lane to the right off the beach walking away from the main promenade. Probably a couple of miles walk there in total - and the beach is the quickest way back walking as it leaves you about 3 miles out from Filey town by road/ footpath. My round trip from Filey Brigg/beach/Primrose/pavement back was just under 6 miles going there by beach and back by footpath.
