Hi there, hoping someone here has been to Inside Park and can tell me whether this pitch is ok!! I've just booked a fortnight there for next year, I really wanted somewhere in pitches 8-14 but that's the dog free area so we've ended up on 34, from the pics it doesn't look as though there's much of a slope but it would be better to find out now and switch pitches than to arrive next July to a sloping pitch!
So anyone who's been to Inside Park - what do you think?!
Many thanks, Mairi x

hi that pitch is fine by the tree with a large space in front of you, I think it is reasonably level but most pitches there require levelling blocks, I have stored my van there for many years and prefer the pitches around the trees, got fed up lately as there are a lot of tents now and quite big ones,By the way Simla curry house in Blandford is Excellent, have a great time its a beautifull site especially when the sun shines Paul
Er - we'll be one of those big tents I'm afraid, sorry Paul - thanks for the reply though, that's really good to know and we'll definitely try the curry place,

Just out of curiosity superhoops, why are you fed up with large tents?. As long as they fit on the pitch shouldn't make any difference.
We stayed at InsidePark last year on I think pitch 103 and found it to be a lovely site. Great facilities and well maintained. Hope you enjoy your stay and are comfortable in your large tent...

I seem to remember pitch 34 is at the bottom of the slope, when I was there a couple of weeks ago I remember a large tent there and it looked pretty level, we walked passed it every day to go to the play park and football pitch, I don't think you will have any complaints, great place.
We were in a large tent on pitch 55 surrounded by caravans and we looked as if we were dwarfed by them
Its not a case of not liking big tents its all the pharapanalia that comes with them and caravans come to that. We went to the Inside Park this year ...never again! They do not have "marked "pitches and the number of people that had pup tents, gazebos, kitchen tents beside their own giant tents and caravan was awful they were encroaching on other peoples pitches including ours. There was even two families pitched together with a full blown party marquee beween them, where they did "party" most nights! There was a guy opposite us whose neighbour put a toilet tent directly outside his main tent door. He went berserk and the atmosphere for the rest of the holiday was awful! The whole place needs more order!!

We stayed there this summer and where we were the pitches were marked and we were told to site our tent in the middle of the pitch. We enjoyed the site so much we booked for next year as we left.
I know this is an old thread but thought I'd add to it as I am thinkinf of the inside park this year... has anyone pitched near the playground? is it too noisy? we would like to pitched by ther playground wherever we are as we have a 5 yr old and it would be handy to be able to see her from tent at all times
