Hi, does anyone know of any sites doing halloween parties in the Lancashire area ( for kids 5 and 7)? I am in Preston so not too far hopefully!! any suggestions would be helpful!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I recommend a very short trip to beacon fell view in Longridge for a very good halloween party, we have had some great nights there over the years,
p.s - the bonfire weekend is ace too,

------------- WWW.READYTENT.CO.UK - NOT GOT YOUR OWN TENT & EQUIPMENT? - WANT TO GIVE CAMPING A TRY ? - THEN LOG ON OR GIVE US A CALL - WE WILL PROVIDE A TOP QUALITY VANGO TENT, READY ERECTED COMPLETE WITH CAMP BEDS AND EQUIPMENT, ON ANY CAMPSITE OF YOUR CHOICE, FROM AS LITTLE AS £10 PER NIGHT.
Tony, whatever you do avoid the Barley, Sabden and Pendle Hill areas like the plague. Halloween in this area ends up a massive p*** up with the police having to instigate a one-way system to cope with the traffic and mountain rescue having to collect drunks from the slopes of the hill.
Take David's advice, Longridge is close enough.
I can highly recommend Scare Kingdom Scream Park http://www.atmosfearuk.com/scarekingdom/index.html which is based at Hawkshaw Farm Park, Mrs Dowson's Ice Cream, on the A59, Clayton-le-Dale, near Preston, on the road to Clitheroe, past BAE Samlesbury.
They have daytime events for children under 10 and scary evening events for older children and adults.
This year there are 2 daytime events Trick or Treat (indoors) and the Labyrinth of the Lost Pirates in a corn maze. Tickets are £6 pp
The show is like a spooky pantomime with real actors and the farm also has lots of little animals and an ice cream parlour. A great day out for the little ones!

Forgot to add -- camping isn't available at Scare Kingdom Scream Park but it might be a nice day out for you and the children anyway, considering you are only a few miles down the road!! It opens during the October half term -- full details are on the website. Enjoy!
