Hubby is away on lads weekend this weekend & I'm thinking of taking my 2 daughters ( 10 & 7 ) & the dog camping for a couple of nights. I need somewhere where we will be able to visit on sat that is dog-friendly.

Not bothered about the camping on my own bit cos we've done it several times before,just not really been that close to home. Any ideas please?

There are some nice sites around Northampton, Stoke Bruerne, Kettering,  Grafham Water... 

Depending on your budget the C&CC one at St Neots sounds right up your street.  Open air, adjacent to the river, some lovely walks and only a 10 minutes stroll into Town or 5 minute drive to Tesco.
