Has anyone heard of or stayed at this campsite? I've searched the main site and the forum but can't find any mention.

Not much info on it but looks quite nice, however I'm reluctant to stay somewhere without reading some reviews beforehand. Says it's a "small, quiet, family run" site but then I wonder if there's much aircraft noise! I found one review on another camping website but it wasn't that encouraging. I'm keen as it looks like it's within walking distance of a couple of decent looking pubs. As such any tips on campsites in Devon/Dartmoor near good real ale pubs would be very welcome.

I wouldn't imagine there's much noise -  I live about 35 minutes from Branscombe and never even knew they had an airfield!   Never heard of the campsite either.

You might get the odd occasional plane going over Branscombe to Exeter Airport but nothing major.  It might be an airfield that specialises in light aircraft/gliders/parachutes and is definitely not a main airport.
