We are going to the truckfest, leaving home friday night and stopping on way because we want to make sure we can get to the truckfest at the racecourse on time, as you only have from 7-9 am to get in, they then close the gates.

Can anyone help with a campsite near to M6 roughly Lancashire or just into south Cumbria that will take a tent for one night?  A single friend is travelling up from south coast to see me and other friends in other parts of Scotland and has fallen foul of the CCC rule during July/August about one nighters.  Best if it's a quiet site - she'll be needing her sleep to get up early - but she does need loo/shower. Thank you.

No probs with her return journey down east coast - she's got a stopover.

Has anyone other than friend and self got caught out over this two nights minimum rule?
