Hi All!

We are looking for a site in North Yorkshire (preferably with ehu) and which has some type of Bonfire Night celebrations OR suggestions of towns/villages with bonfires/fireworks that we could visit for the weekend which might have campsites nearby still open in November?  Probably a bit late, I know!

If you're a member, the CC has a Bonfire Rally at Brompton on Swale Caravan Park with the North Yorkshire Centre and the C&CC Durham DA have a Bonfire Meet at Crimdon House Farm, Hartlepool both on 5th-7th November.

There is usually a good firework display in Richmond - Hargill House CC site just off the A66 is open until 7th November.

Many thanks Helen, Richmond is looking favourite at the moment - I love it there.  Not a member of CC though so will have a search for somewhere else close that is still open then.

not sure if it is still open to the public then and if they still do it but Primrose Valley used to have a massive bonfire in their field and fireworks over the sea!  It was really really good but like i say i'm not sure if they still do it or when the park closes to the public?

Hello Caz, the firework display at Stockton on Tees is excellent and the CC site at the Tees Barrage is only a short walk from the Stockton riverside where the display takes place.

I'm looking out for a site for bonfire weekend but I'm mostly looking for a good bonfire as we usually go to the Stockton display and are looking for a change this year.

South Park in Darlington usually has a massive display with bonfire too.

You could still camp at Brompton on Swale Caravan Park - you wouldn't need to be part of the CC rally - just book in as normal.
