how did they know it was you ? i would have replied really it kept me awake too.
some people have no manners how rude of them to pass comments like that.
I don't really know but I should have said that!!

I thought you packed the Toilet Rolls...!

had the same sort of comment a few years back, then next night went past an open window on the commenters van, and heard the most awful racket ! flew back to my tent and got my video camera. stood there taping the open window and the noise for 5 minutes...........then panned down and there was the farm ram leaning on the frame snoring his horns off.... The look on thier faces when i showed them the start of the video next morning !!! left it for a whole hour before showing them the rest of the tape. LOL shut them up though
Had they got their windows open??? We usually sleep with the rooflight open above the bed but if ever there's any noise we just shut it and it's really quiet, I doubt they would hear anyone snoring on the next pitch.
We had friends sleeping in our awning this weekend and he is a LOUD snorer, yes we could hear him but it was very muffled and he was lay right outside the 'van.

...Perhaps they will stick to Caravan Club sites from now on !!!
Well, knowing the CC and their love of rules, there's probably something in their handbook stated when and where, snoring is permitted.(..only during low season and on budget, non ehu pitches...?!?)
Were these "neighbours" joking about it or were they having a pop..??
Either way,I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.(..not that it sounds as if you would anyway though.. )

I snore if I sleep on my back (but it tends to wake me up). Fortunately, it's fairly rare but I remember seeing a product that was basically a vest with golf-balls (or something similar) sewn down the spine, so if you rolled onto your back at night, you're body would realise it was uncomfortable and roll you over again before you started snoring.
No idea if it worked but sounds plausible...

Its not as bad as looking at your neighbours the next day when they have kept you awake having a bit!, worse we then realised they had 2 kids in their tent with them!!!
------------- Visit Llandrindod Wells! Great scenery, walks, cycling, red kites. Ideal for exploring Mid Wales.

I'd be really tempted to shout something to put them off . Then laugh myself stupid trying to keep quiet, listening out to know if they heard me or not
