Had a run out to Filey yesterday just for the day. Took my mum and dad as they used to live there. We took them to look at Hunmanby Gap as they had never been before. As we turned down Sands Lane ( I think that was the name), I noticed a pub and there appeared to be a few tourers there. We didnt get chance to get out and have a look. Does anyone know the name of this site please. I have been on the campsite website search, but cannot find it, but I have noticed that the Dotterel Inn has a campsite. Is this a new one? There doesnt seem to be any information or reviews. Many thanks.

The pub you're thinking of is The Railway Tavern(as its next to the railway line) or as the locals call it 'Tavern'
Have seen the caravans when I have driven past but not sure much more than that, maybe give them a ring and find out more: 01723 890878
If you want a campsite that is different, got to Mere Farm or Bobby bees as it was known, a lovely site about 3 miles from Hunmanby, dont go if you want first class facilities,do go if yu want a relaxing,'proper'camping trip, animals everywhere, recycling very importent, fires delivered to you tent. Love it.Check out the reviews. Happy Camping.

Lol Fudgetastic, have just been there last weekend and it is quirky to say the least, certainly off the wall, but we will be back next year if only for a weekend!
Best wishes Sam
