Hi

Does anyone know of a good family site for 23rd oct for 7 days in the Skipton or Blackpool area i have rung quite a few and they all seem to be full .

Does it really get that busy during the half term week in October? We're off to Ty Mawr in Towyn, 2 weeks on Sunday for 3 nights. Whenever we've been to a Haven/park Resorts style sites it always been during quiet(ish) periods. We're looking forward to the family entertainment at night. Will it be a case of getting across to the club extremley early to get a seat?

it is normally very busy at haven good seat by 6.30 unless you leave it untill after bingo

not as bad as when we stayed at pointins for a new year break we had to Q from 6.00AM IN THE MORNING TO GET SEATS FOR THE NEW YEARS EVE!!!

but come midnight all was well if i could remember

Although the weather is turning by the end of October, because it is a school holiday, sites will still get booked very early and will probably be full by now!

Personally I don't do Haven sites any more as I got sick of having to be in the show rooms by 5.30pm just to get a seat!

We were going to go camping one last time but think we might chicken out and take the caravan or even look into hiring a static!!

we went with 2 other familys 7 kids in total

first night we were there speaking to another family who had been last 3 yrs she told us about the early morning start, we thought she was winding us up but no 6.00 AM and there was a line of about 50/60 people

have to say that everybody put  tables together in rows, put table cloths party hats streamers even bottles of cheap carva pop crisps  etc.on tables and then we took it in turns to sit at our table ( one person at a time )

there were things going on all day so somthing to keep you amused

dispite the early start the not so clean rooms it was a fantastic 3 nights
