I am organising a summer rally style meet up for an organisation I am part of and could really do with some help finding the right site.

as we are scattered all over the country somewhere central is prefered as are ehu

we would ideally like some kind of central facility ( though if we need to i am sure we could find a small marquee we could use)  for socialising .

family bathrooms would be great as we have lots of children with us , as would a good childrens play area, and toilets on or very near the rally field for the same reason .

I look forward to hearing your recomendations

Many sites don't seem to accept large groups these days so you may be better off searching for sites that have a rally field you could use. Only down side is that it may not have EHU.

From the reports on here, Pillaton seems a very popular site and UKCS seem to have taken it over recently with no problems!!!

Could try Slimbridge, just of the M5 north of Bristol, wildlife sanctuary 1/2 mile away to entertain the kids

I'm rally secretary for a club and have the same problems, only we don't have any children to worry about (mostly over 50s).

We went to the C&CC site at Wolverley this weekend and it's great. They accept rallies, there is a small children's play area, a huge field where you can let dogs off, a pub about 2 minutes away with a garden, tea rooms next door, and another pub about 10 minutes further in the village. Loads to do in the area too. If you are an organised club they don't charge the non-member fee.

The other one we use which is pretty central is Stratford on Avon racecourse. They have rooms for hire. The one we've had the last couple of years was around £150 plus VAT but you have it for the whole length of your stay.
