I am looking for a campsite in Cornwall for August next year. Something with an indoor pool and a bit of entertainment for the kids -we will have a 7yr old 6yr old and 4 yr old !!
Everything I have looked at has been very expensive - any body got any recommendations ??
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Am afraid everywhere in Cornwall in August will be expensive. I would advise to go for an independent site rather than one owned by a chain (i.e Haven).
if you book a haven site before end of November, you usually save a lot, that's if you were thinking of going to a haven(Perran Sands). Some people slate this site, but we have been the last 2 years, and are going again next year.
It's not all singing all dancing BUT it has an indoor pool and kids playground, is small but well kept and NOT overpriced! You may have to book early though?

Just done quite a lot of digging and research and we have plumped for Globe Vale. We are taking 12 year old and his mate and although it doesn't have an inddor pool it has very good reviews on here

We really like Globe Vale, Teacake. It is central and therefore you can get to many places. The site itself is relatively quiet, with a small bar where you can get standard food (nothing fussy) , but reasonably priced. Not too far from a beach, although parking at any of the beaches can be a bit hit or miss during the main season. Paul and Louise are really nice and will always stop for a chat. We like being able to hook up to water/waste as well as electric. Just makes life a lot easier. Having a tent, you'll probably be in the grassed area in the middle of the bit with hardstanding caravan pitches around the outside. The grass pitches are marked out by 'small ridges' on the surface of the grass and are of a good size. The more open fields are usually reserved for rallies. Fortunately/unfortunately (which ever way you look at it), we're not going next year, having booked a ferry to France. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
We have stayed at 2 of Woolacombe sites - Twitchem and Golden Coast - both great sites and great facilities - ideal for those with children. Enjoy your stay
A couple of sites I would reccomend are Tencreek Nr Looe or Tregoad Nr Looe check the website. We have also stayed at Pentewin Nr Mevigissey although my guess would be that latter would be quite expensive in the summer albiet good facilities and right on the beech.

We had a great holiday in Cornwall this year (October), we stayed between St Austell and Mevagissy at Sun Valley. They have a shop, couple of small games rooms, indoor pool, bar & do good food. We didnt find it too pricey even though it was half term, not sure what the costs are for August though. They had a bit of entertainment on ie Quiz one night and a kids entertainer another. Its not as big as the Woolacombe sites but both have their merrits.
