It hasn't got a public car park where you can sit in the car and see the sea (same at Burnham On Sea) apart from driving onto the beach.
Was in the area in van last week for a few days - obviously it must have attractions for lots of people because there are so many static caravans in the area. But you do really have to get down the coast to Woolacombe at least before you get a decent beach where you can swim without getting muddy.
