I have just noticed that the Caravan Club has changed it's age limit for children from 16 to 17, adults now classed as 18+! I had already booked two sites for my husband, me and our 17 year old son, who at the time was classed as an adult, when this all changed I do not know, but amending him to a child has saved us £30 on one site, so if your children are the same age, I would double check your bookings to see if you need to amend them!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
my nephew was 6'4" at the age of 13 , one of the tallest kids in the country , and he wasnt lanky either , personally i cant see why they charge less ,they still use all the facilities as an adult
I actually agree with you - I think there should be a "per person" price rather than an adult or a child price. After all, you use the facilities regardless of how old you are!
The CC system is not too far out in my opinion but I do think the child rates should be slightly higher than they are due to the mess they seem to make in the toilet blocks and the extra facilities provided for them.
What does get me going is having to pay the same rate as a family of 8 on a CL or CS when I am camping solo. I do wish the clubs would put more pressure on the CL's and CS's to adopt similar pricing plans to the club sites.
