Hi everyone, have been looking into sites for our summer holiday and have come across this one.  It looks lovely with pool, etc but on checking this forum, they have requested no reviews which makes me a little dubious about booking! Has anyone been to this campsite? What did you think? Thanks

I live local and to be honest I hear loads of negatives on the place, infact they outweigh the positives at around 7:1...not great.

I have a colleague who uses it for weekends out of the summer hols season, and they like the place. But for me it is not a place i would recommend.

Try Burnham-on-Sea or Williton for sites in this area, some decent ones if you look.

Any more comments ? bearded ladies, tatoos, heat lamps, tinsel, gazebos, staffy bull terriers, wind breaks, swearing, unmanned reception, manky pool, swampy fields  ... all fun down there !!

I'm local too and it's fine but just not in the peak season. I went to Dulhorn Farm the other day near Brent Knoll, no facilities but lovely place, and the kids didn't notice the lack of pool, just a happier mum cos it was much cheaper!! The pool can be freezing and packed too from time to time.

April - 2 nights in Easter Hols in Haven, Burnham (down the road).
Taking my sister and family for a trial camp locally 20th May
GLASTONBURY!! And *no* kids this year!! (Working: secure camping too!)
Chy Carne July/Aug 2011...
