The large grass fields to the right, and down so you are away from the edge. Stone walls surround so you can set the kids a boundary without appearing hardhearted.  Close to the shore for when you want to go dolphin spotting.  These fields gives you a view of the causeway, and of course the big hills. You will spend many a happy hour watching the cars splash through the water on the causeway when the tide is in.  Misses the worst of the wind.  Have a look at google maps. LL45 2PJ  will get you the site.

If you want convenience, the area between the sea and the toilet/shower block, restaurant, general store etc., but obviously this is the busiest part of the site - you'd probably find a bit more solitude and a bit more shelter (from sea "breezes"!) on the lower areas towards the airfield.

Probably best to have a drive round the site when you arrive, after all this claims to be the biggest tent site in Europe (and by late July will have portable toilets at various points as well as the permanent block) so you should be able to find a suitable pitch somewhere!

Errm, yes, we once pitched a (borrowed) ridge tent between the road and the cliff edge which gave us a great view of Harlech Castle from the front. During the course of the rather windy night we realised we also had a good view of the sea from the rear!
