Has anyone tent camped at Raby Park Paddock Campsite, at Neston on the Wirral? Would appreciate any info. Thought I might camp while visiting parents nearby.

Think it started as a CL/CS, surrounding area is horse grazing and a school/ leisure centre opposite. Never used it and no idea what facilities are like, sorry.
Thanks for your replies. Various website trawls haven't proved much use. I'll get in touch with owner then presuming I stay there in June will do a review.

I'm thinking of staying here too whilst visiting relatives. Would appreciate any feedback. If it's not very good we will spend the night in a hotel, but could do without the extra cost.
Hi Janet. It was a non-starter. Phoned several places and the one at Neston was recommended by my brother - he knew the owner. I spoke to him but told strictly no tents. Only time is if there is a CC or club event when rally field is used.

I live in Neston and I am not aware of any local campsites that allow tents (just caravans). Depending on how close you want to be to your relatives there are plenty of lovely sites within a 35 - 40 minute drive, such as here) - this site is also 15 minutes from Llangollen, which is well worth a visit depending on how long you are here for.
the caravan club cheshire oakes site used to have a small area for tents on the right as you go in. next to the m53 at ellesmere port, 5 min walk from cheshire oakes retail park.
