We have a folding camper and are looking to go to the Isle of Wight with another family in June. We stayed at Appuldurcombe Gardens before but found that the pitch sizes were quite small and close together. Can anyone recommend a good site that has enough to keep four boys amused?

In terms of pitch sizes and location I can highly recommend Adgestone C&CC site.

Probably not masses to amuse the kids, but there is a swimming pool and a fishing lake on site.

Another vote for Adgestone. There are also two play areas (for the different age groups) and a kick about area. Also a takeaway on site. We were there last September and in June it should be OK, but I would think in the real high season it could get very busy as it is quite large.

Hi,
We went to Whitecliffe Bay in Bembridge 2 years ago. Very much in the style of Haven, with clubroom, indoor pool and outdoor pool. Was a little commercial for s, but may be what you are after with boys. The toilets / showers were a bit of a let down, but the pitches were fantastic with wonderful views.

Another good one is The Orchards, near Yarmouth, but this can be expensive but lovely facilities. (We had a good look around whilst we were there)

This year we have booked to go to Waverley Park in Cowes, which looks lovely, only 2 mins drive from port, with views over the solent.
