We've done Bashley Park a couple of times, nice site for a large one, lots of stuff for the kids if that is the kind of thing you want.
It's right down at the bottom close to the coast so when the weather is good you have the beach to. The forest itself cab be very water logged at this time of year, so the beaches, crabbing etc make up for it then.
We generally go down there for the Feb holday, and spend a lot of time in the pool, steam, sauna etc. A bit pricey, but not to bad when considering other sites like this.
