I have heard the Caravan Club site in Blackpool is very good, and not far from the attractions. My brother in law goes a lot with his kids, and really likes it.

Had to give up the camping due to the rubbish Weather and Wind, so got myself a campervan!

I agree Knepps Farm is excellent it is spacious as well.

We always stop at a small site just off the M55 about 10 mins from blackpool,it is a camping and caravanning club CS site so you have to be a member,there are several reviews on here,they have EHU if needed, toilet,but no showers,it is literaly set in a large back garden we find it ample as we never go for more than 3 days,check out the reviews.

Hampton Road Social Club, I dont think you would get more central than this site and at very reasonable rates too, and within really easy walking distance to the pleasure beach etc.

If you are looking for a site in Blackpool then as stated Hampton Road or CC site are your best bet.  Knepps Farm is nice but it's not in Blackpool and would take you off peak about 30 mins...at peak time up to an hour to reach Blackpool this is partly due to road works and closure to traffic on the prom whilst the tram track is updated...this is to last until Julu 2011.

We stay at Blackpool South Caravan Club site, its fantasic site, and so close to the pleasure beach (5min drive) and we certainly would go back would recommend this to anyone
