We've just got Lola the puppy and want to try her in the van before we go away at Easter.Does anybody have any recomendations??

Want about 1-1.30 mins away from Notts,EHU,showers and loos

and most important...A pub within 5 mins walk..Lola only has little legs

How about Laneside in Hope, Derbyshire? Or, the Duke of York near Buxton looks interesting (but I haven't been).

Hope Lola enjoys caravanning - our dogs love it!!

Hi, cant suggest any sites but make sure that the pub will take dogs....we find it can be a problem (you'll notice we have 2 dogs) Its ok in summer when you don't mind sitting outside to eat but too darn cold at mo!

the pubs around hope are very dog friendly

What about Rivendale in Ashbourne has a lovely pub on site with log burning fire which allows dogs.

Have you tried spending some time in your camper with your dog at home.  It may be a good way of getting the dog used to being in there.  You could even fed it or watch tv etc so the dog sees the camper as home regardless of where you camp.  Of course the dog will soon get used to camping anyway but trying on your drive first may go a long way to helping with the first trip

Have a look at the pilgrim farthers at scrooby nr bawtry
very nice site very good owners and pub at bottom of lane less than 5 min walk Bin going for last 8 years
