Hi there, new to UKCS so hello everyone :-)

Does anyone know of any campsites in Cornwall (any area) that do not elevate their prices during the school holidays?

For most sites in Cornwall their season is very short compared to other parts of the country, so i doubt very much if you will find one that doesnt charge more at peak times but best of luck!

You could look at CLs or CS sites a round £12 to £15 pound a night

If you asked the sites they don't elevate their prices they reduce them for off peak.

We find Carnevas between Padstow and Newquay very reasonable.

Chy Carne nr The Lizard is really nice - 5mins from beach beautiful views and great area.
Not huge price rises for peak times, special deals for UKCS member and really nice owners and manager.

Family pitch (2+2) low season £20.25 (£125 per week)   peak price £27.25 per night
Backpacker £7 a night

Wheal Vreagh Farm, Carleen, Helston,Cornwall was £15 a night last year at peak times. Central to Land's End, The Lizard, Helston, St. Ives. No frills, but clean facilities,well landscaped spaced out pitches, washing lines, picnick tables and out door games for children to borrow, (free.) Also washing machines/dryers and under cover washing up area.

They also had Euro Tents (ready kitted out with fridges and cookers, tables and chaires and matresses all for around £300 a week including electric.

Just looked at Wheal Vreagh Farm website, how refreshing to have one price per pitch and no mention of extras. Its £17.50 this year in peak season, £15 at other times.

thats a good price teepee cant understand why they hike their prices up in summer months .people use less electricity due to lighter evenings dont use the heatin and they cook on bbqs mostly
