Hello everyone

Just wondered if any members have camped near Henley during the Regatta?  I've spotted this campsite

which is only open during the regatta and wondered if any of you have stayed there or can recommend a suitable site for tents.  I have stayed at the CC site in Henley when we had our van and love the area.

I have stayed here but not during the regatta. It is a nice site with shop, swimming pool, and bar. You will need to book well in advance for regatta week. All the campsites in the area get fully booked.

My next door neighbours camp there bob61 and they love it. We're hoping to join them this year. It's highly recommended.

Choose your dates wisely because it is a popular site and can get busy. I can highly recommend the Henley Tearooms down by the river...good home cooking served with a smile.

Take a look at Swiss farm in Henley, stayed there many times but not regatta week.

Stayed at Swiss farm about 15-20 yrs ago when we regularly went to Henley regatta.... Vague memories due to much celebrating at 'the barn' but we stayed year after year so it must have been good! Only issue I remember is not being able to iron my dress for stewards enclosure! Enjoy but do book in advance :)

Its another vote for swiss farm. We stayed there for four nights last year but used it as a base for legoland. Fantastic site with great facilities. Kids loved the outdoor pool. Only a 5min walk into Henley. Would book ASAP though.

swiss farm has to be the best choice but if its to expensive or booked up try Hurley riverside park its a short drive to Henley or if you like you can walk along the river bank there.

theres also a couple of good sites in Wallingford thats only 15 min drive to Henley

Just a warning Henley gets very wery very very very busy during regatta week all the pubs cafe etc get packed out and the traffic is horrendous

traffic is horrendous during regatta,

Swiss farm......highly recommended
