Hi

Going on our first camping trip this year with the children (4yrs and 12mnths) and wondered if anyone had recommendations for smallish sites that have clean facilities and obviously family friendly in pembrokeshire/powys/monmouthshire/cotswolds.
Any suggestions gratefully received as nervous about turning up somewhere that's not good!!!

We stayed here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=9046 last year. It was a nice quiet site, I wrote a review as we had a great time. I can't remember the road noise being too bad, more of a hum in the background. It was only our second camping trip, so we were somewhat apprehensive as the first site we went to there was alot of noise late at night, dog mess everywhere, and it was freezing (obviously not the site owners fault lol).

This site is wonderful Batcombe Vale. It's well organised but also 'proper' camping; beautifully pretty - there are no regimented rows of white caravans here! It's small and friendly with basic, but spotlessly clean facilities.

Lovely and quiet, with it's position in the vale and away from busy roads no traffic noise can be heard, just the cows mooing and birds singing. There's a small field in the centre for games and a pond with rowing boats you can use for free. The hosts are probably the most friendly and helpful I've met. Well recommended.

Cotswold View is a nice 'first site' and great for little kids
