My husband and I are thinking of a weeks camping somewhere in the Cornwall area, ideally in a location where we are within easy distance of good pubs but also where there is plenty to do and places to visit. Having not visited the area for years, neither of us have any idea of the best locations or what the area has to offer. Any ideas are gladly welcomed - there are only two of us and ideally we would like a campsite with decent facilities close to the beach if possible

Have you looked at Pentewan Sands?

We went a couple of years ago. You are literally on their own private beach and the near by pub is lovely. It's right near Mevagissey which is a lovely little fishing village.

Globe Vale is wonderful.  Central position.  Well looked after site and not the most expensive site around.  Take a look at the reviews on here and their website.
